There will be a handful of simulations and exhibits initially,\u00a0 followed by 70 to 90 regular questions. You may anticipate 3-7 multiple-answer multiple-choice questions.\u00a0There will probably be a matching terms and definitions or two to handle.\u00a0 These are worth multiple points.<\/p><p>Crypto is down-sized and the slack is taken up by frameworks, cloud, and mobile.<\/p><p style=\"font-size: 17.6px; line-height: var(--go--line-height);\"><span style=\"font-weight: bolder;\">Front-Loaded<\/span><br \/>Expect 70-92 items, with probably 1-2 simulations, likely just 1. The simulations really do not seem to be too bad. Mix and match descriptions and terms. Expect a few genuine \u2018simulations\u2019, like configuring a WAP.<\/p><p style=\"font-size: 17.6px; line-height: var(--go--line-height);\"><a href=\"\/about-the-security-exam\/\">Read more about SY0-701<\/a> exam data and the overall description.<\/p><h3>CISSP <span style=\"color: #005aab;\">Quiz Changes<\/span><\/h3><p>The CISSP quiz was overhauled last year to total over 2300 test items. The 2020 update to the CISSP did not introduce new bodies of knowledge and had small changes to the percentage of content distribution.<\/p><ul><li>There are 1300+ regular questions<\/li><li>The Definition and Acronyms are over 900<\/li><li>Over 50 lists were added. Items to Sort, Prioritize, or Link. You have to know these<\/li><\/ul><h3><span style=\"color: var(--go-h3--color--text,var(--go-heading--color--text)); font-family: var(--go-heading--font-family); font-style: var(--go-heading--font-style,normal); font-weight: var(--go-heading--font-weight); letter-spacing: var(--go--letter-spacing,normal);\">ECC <\/span><span style=\"font-family: var(--go-heading--font-family); font-style: var(--go-heading--font-style,normal); font-weight: var(--go-heading--font-weight); letter-spacing: var(--go--letter-spacing,normal); color: #005aab;\">CEHv12 Changes<\/span><\/h3><p>CEHv12 added a few new things. Here are the changes:<\/p><ul><li>It&#8217;s not a change, but the test still has a variable pass range. It may be as low as 60% or up to 85%, depending on the difficulty of the exam chosen randomly<\/li><li>There is a bit more on IoT and Cloud.\u00a0 Know tool names and containerization in the Cloud.<\/li><li>Big Nmap switch parameters focus<\/li><li>ATT&amp;CK, Cyber Kill Chain, and TTP tested<\/li><li>Acronyms are NOT a big focus or issue<\/li><li>Expect to have to know some very arcane applications<\/li><li>Expect a lot of definitional knowledge about IoT and the cloud<\/li><li>There are 1600 slide pages<\/li><li>Increase lab count 240<\/li><\/ul><p>There will be 1600 pages in the slides and 240+ labs. Many of the labs are only in electronic format. The books are available in an electronic web format that allows copying and searching. No marking, though.<\/p><p>For the test, there is just one 312-50.
